We are looking for dedicated Mental Wellness Advocates to join our dynamic team and help us continue our mission of healing and support throughout local communities.

Position Details:

+ Crisis Intervention Specialist / Behavioral Health Tech

+ Full Time: 5 - 8hr shifts = 40 hours per week

+ Shift Rotations: 2:30p - 10:30p / 10:30p = 6:30a

+ Location: Dade City, FL

What We're Looking For in Candidates:

+ Experience Required: 1+ year of recent direct patient care at Crisis Stabilization Facility. Patient care with baker act, psychosis, schizophrenia, bi-polar. (experience required)

+ Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and provide emotional support.

+ Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.

+ Resilience: Capability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.

The Mental / Psychiatric Health Technician cares for individuals with psychiatric conditions as well as a variety of substance use disorders, following the instructions of physicians, nurses or other health practitioners. The Behavioral Health Technician monitors a patients’ safety, physical and emotional well-being and report directly to medical staff.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or equivalent required

+ Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred (or per facility requirements)

+ Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience preferred

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
