We are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious **Equipment Operators** to join the team at **Sanford Recycling & TS in Sanford, FL** . Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge _plus._

_Th_ _e p_ _osition is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week. Pay Range for this position is $17-19/hr DOE._

DUTIES AND** **RESPONSIBILITIES** **:

+ Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as needed

+ Spreading and compacting trash using a Compactor

+ Spreading daily cover using aDozer

+ Excavating soil using an Excavator

+ Hauling soil

W** **ORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

+ The work environment is an outdoor landfill setting. The employee will work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Areas are clean, ventilated, and well lit.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

+ Experience driving forklift,dozer, or articulated dump truck _required_

+ Must demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate equipment used at facility

+ Must become proficient in the care and use of all site specific, facility requiredPersonal ProtectionEquipment (PPE)

+ Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment andwillingnessto assume additional or newresponsibilitiesreadily

+ Able to work outside inall weather conditions

+ Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly
