    Position Description

    Serco is seeking a Network Communications Manager 1 to support operations at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Washington. In this role, you will manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) network compliance and communications infrastructure across classified and unclassified networks, ensuring secure and effective mission command support and exercise operations.

    In this role, you will:

    + Serve as RMF Network Manager and perform IAT II and ISSO/IAM I duties.

    + Oversee daily network operations by network administrators and system administrators across RMF devices, MCIS, NIPR/SIPR ICAN, and communications infrastructure.

    + Maintain and update RMF documentation including STIGs, SOPs, ATO artifacts, business continuity plans, logs, and building/network diagrams.

    + Upload RMF compliance data to eMASS and manage security control justifications and documentation.

    + Coordinate with Facility Manager, Security Manager, and ISSM on cybersecurity, physical security, and documentation compliance.

    + Perform auditing functions, TSP maintenance, hardware/software configuration, and SIPR/NIPR support for users.

    + Manage user access, compliance training, system permissions, and security documentation including DD2875s, AUPs, PUAs, and ATCTS records.

    + Serve as primary liaison for JTEN and GSC networks, and participate in exercise planning and readiness meetings.

    + Escort DPW personnel in secure areas and support physical infrastructure requirements.

    + Support AMC, IMCOM, and DPTMS projects related to cybersecurity and system integration.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    + One of the following:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Network Management or related field with a minimum of 8 years of network architecture experience.

    + Master’s degree in Network Management or related field with a minimum of 6 years of network architecture experience.

    + Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.

    + Valid CompTIA Security+ CE certification.

    + Must be able to travel up to 10% and work onsite at JBLM in Washington.

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    + Proven experience in RMF compliance, system auditing, and secure network administration.

    + Strong knowledge of SIPR/NIPR operations, user support systems, and certification tracking.

    + Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional technical teams in high-security environments.

    Additional desired experience and skills:

    + Additional CompTIA certifications such as Network+ and A+.

    + Vendor certifications in CCNA, Windows, Server, and Red Hat Linux.

    + Strong understanding of LAN/WAN integration, Microsoft platforms, Cisco configurations, and backup/storage methodologies.

    + Familiarity with RMF C&A processes and compliance frameworks.
