    UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor is seeking a passionate **Behavioral Health Therapist I** to join our vibrant outpatient team!

     

    In this vital role, you will have the opportunity to provide therapy as well as conduct occasional intakes. To qualify, you must have completed a master’s degree in a license eligible program (LPC or LCSW). As an ideal candidate, you will have prior experience in a therapy setting, as well as using electronic health records systems.

    Key Details:

    + **Work Hours** : Monday-Thursday, 8a-4:30p, Flexible scheduling available!

    + **Location** : 1330 West 26 th Street

    Responsibilities:

    + Participates in quality assurance and treatment team meetings.

    + Completes timely clinical documentation and ensures insurance compliance.

    + Conducts assessments and develops/updates treatment plans.

    + Provides therapy, engages families, and educates patients on recovery.

    + Refers patients to additional services and higher care levels.

    + Maintains clinical productivity records and adapts treatment models.

    + Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required. (Successfully completed the educational requirements as defined in practicing state's code)

    + One year of clinical experience _preferred_ .

    + Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM _preferred_ .

    + Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions _preferred_ .

     

    ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR OFFICIAL GRADUATE LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR CONSIDERATION.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

    Passed the examination required by 49.11. relating to licensure examination. Must sign a license agreement and be actively working to obtain the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Licensed Family Marriage Therapist (LMFT) within 30 months of hire.

     

    + Automotive Insurance

    + Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    + Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)

    + Driver's License

    + Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

    + Act 33 with renewal

    + Act 34 with renewal

    + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
