    The Group Product Director is a critical position within the Janssen Neuroscience Marketing team and will be responsible for the overarching HCP Mood strategies. The GPD will be directly responsible for all aspects of driving patient demand including brand education to patients/caregivers, DTC media plans, caregiver specific strategies, and relevant unbranded assets. The position works closely with HCP & Market Access Marketing teams, Communications, Franchise Marketing, Advocacy, Market Research, PECS and Agency Partners. The scope of the role requires strong teamwork, collaboration, and alignment of strategies across multiple stakeholders to understand business impact and deliver on business objectives.

    Responsibilities / Areas of Focus:

    - Oversee a marketing team in the development and implementation of direct to patient strategies and tactics focused on increasing awareness and activating consumers and caregivers to talk to their HCP.

     

    - Lead development of integrated and multi-channel DTC campaign

     

    - Manage agency of record and other specialty agencies to implement tactics & training

     

    - Partner with Advocacy team to implement advocacy strategy and maximize sponsorships and partnerships

     

    - Partner with PR/Communications team on external communications initiatives and signature campaigns

     

    - Lead media and digital strategy and asset creation for patient/caregiver audience

     

    - Lead patient and caregiver advocate recruiting and peer to peer testimonial assets

     

    - Manage Consumer budget, including all aspects of agency and media spend

     

    - Oversee tactical execution of direct reports; Provide coaching, development, and day-to-day management of 3 direct reports.

    Qualifications

    - BA/BS required; MBA preferred.

     

    - Minimum 10 years business experience is required (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Management, etc.) of which 5 years demonstrated marketing experience and proven performance is required.

     

    - Healthcare experience is preferred, and patient marketing and digital experience is required

     

    - Experience formally leading, managing, coaching, and developing direct reports is strongly preferred.

     

    - Strong verbal, written and executive communication skills are required along with demonstrated presentation skills.

     

    - A demonstrated ability to be innovative, work within a team environment, and lead a cross-functional team, multiple agencies/partners and external stakeholders is required

     

    - Excellent written & oral communication skills and experience presenting to senior management is required

     

    - This position is based in Titusville, NJ and may require up to 25% domestic travel.

     

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850.

     

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

     

    Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

     

    Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

     

    This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

    Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

    Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

     

    Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

     

    Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
