Overview
The Parking Specialist provides high-level customer service while helping patients, visitors, medical staff, and employees gain access to the facilities they need.
The Parking Specialist uses an advanced understanding of internal systems, facilities, garage structures, and independent judgement to create access solutions for customers, understanding when to escalate decisions to leadership depending on the nature of the situation. The Parking Specialist 2 troubleshoots, repairs and maintains parking specific equipment, cash registers, and associated software at all facilities with parking equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Provides maintenance and mechanical repairs to parking gates and equipment.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Ability to provide consistently excellent customer service with empathy, patience and confidence.
Ability to understand the customer’s point of view and take ownership of creating a solution to their issues.
Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
Minimum Requirements
Education: H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
Working Conditions
Physical Requirements: Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (> 50 lbs.) Examples: grounds staff and EMS. Environment: Located in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness. Examples: engineering, waste management, laundry workers and yards/grounds staff.
