    Role Overview

    **Sodexo** is seeking a **Construction MEP / Project Manager 2** to work with one of Sodexo’s construction management teams at one of our largest energy accounts in **Houston, TX.** The **Construction MEP / Project Manager 2** will be the primary project leader for execution teams on assigned projects and will effectively communicate project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required.     What You'll Do

    + Develop project schedules and executes according to plan for assigned projects

    + Evaluate the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes

    + Actively pursue additional work through change orders.

    + Perform associated cost estimates, prepares proposals, and negotiates final settlement price and customer acceptance

    + Develop and maintains viable long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors

    + Attend and lead job progress meetings

    What You Bring

    + Minimum of 5 years of Construction/Project Management experience with new construction, renovations, infrastructure, and working in critical environments is preferred

    + Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office to include excel, word, PowerPoint, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment as well as experience with MS project, Procore and Bluebeam

    + OSHA 30 (or the ability to gain certification within 120 days of hire)

    + Ability to embrace ambiguity and work effectively in environments with undefined processes

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

     

    Minimum Management Experience - 5 years

     

    Minimum Functional Experience - 3 yearswork experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
