    Job Title: ABM-Facilities Construction

     

    Job Status: Full Time, First Shift, Non-Exempt 6A to 2P

    Job Summary

    The ABM Facilities Construction position performs general maintenance for Mercury Marine at the Fond du Lac campus plants and associated Wisconsin plants.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Completes work orders utilizing Mercury’s computerized maintenance management system.

    • Performs basic trade work in one or more trades (light construction, door and door hardware, patching and painting walls).

    • Repair walls, ceilings and other surfaces, which include painting, repair holes, scrapes and other minor surface damage.

    • Operate a variety of maintenance equipment including drills and a variety of hand and power tools; operate a fork lift and powered industrial truck (PIT).

    • Performs snow removal duties using plow vehicles and equipment.

    • Performs preventative maintenance on the Facilities pool vehicles

    • Performs other job-related duties assigned by Mercury Project Manager or ABM Supervisor.

    Job Requirements

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Operate a forklift/pallet jack

    • Ability to use knowledge of operation, maintenance, and construction to maintain building efficiencies;

    • Comprehensive knowledge of specific methods, practices and tools related to facilities and systems maintenance;

    • Ability to effectively schedule, organize, coordinate, perform work, and adhere to safety measures and procedures under stress and within pressing deadlines.

    • Ability to work flexible hours determined by operational and building needs.

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse environment.

    • Must be able to perform all the above job duties
