Chemours is seeking a **HVAC Service Technician** to join our growing team. This position will be available at our **Starke, FL** location and report directly to the **Florida Maintenance Manager.**

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Installs, repairs and performs preventive maintenance on various equipment in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, maintenance schedule and manufacturer specifications using hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.

+ Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems- air handling units, duct work, vents, condensation drainage.

+ Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose.

+ Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently on HVAC systems.

+ Ensure compliance with appliance standards.

+ Track HVAC repairs and work completed in SAP.

+ Engage with Management to inform them of issues, solutions and outcomes; recommend products and services for optimal system performance.

+ Maintain high customer satisfaction by answering any questions, concerns, or issues that Management may have.

+ Maintaining accurate documentation on all jobs and communication with Management.

+ Run service calls- repair and/or replace parts on equipment as necessary.

The following is** **_required_** **for this role:

+ A High School Diploma or equivalent is essential.

+ Minimum 1-year experience as an HVAC Service Technician with a certified HVAC Company.

+ Must have EPA 608 Universal Certification.

+ Valid US Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.

+ Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.

+ Physical dexterity.
