    Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Lunch: Flexible)

    An established industry leader in rail systems manufacturing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Warehouse Associate** to join its team in **Plattsburgh, NY** . This facility has played a key role in delivering high-performance HVAC systems, doors, and a variety of aftermarket parts for rail transportation since 1998.     The Impact You’ll Make

     

    As a Warehouse Associate, your role is vital to the success of our production operations. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment, supporting inventory control, and ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of materials for manufacturing teams. Your contribution directly affects the reliability and quality of the systems our company delivers to transit authorities and major clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform warehouse tasks including cycle counting, inventory tracking, and material picking

    + Handle shipping and receiving operations with attention to accuracy and safety

    + Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift experience preferred)

    + Stage and organize materials according to established sequences (type, size, product code, etc.)

    + Accurately document materials received and distributed using MRP systems and Microsoft Office

    + Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work areas

    + Prepare and assemble customer orders for shipment or internal delivery

    + Complete a variety of transactions in the MRP system as needed

    + Stand for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 50 pounds overhead

    + Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves)

    + Participate in cross-functional duties or training as assigned

    Qualifications

    + 1 to 3 years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + Experience in material handling and inventory processes

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems

    + Strong organizational and time management skills

    + Basic math and counting skills with strong attention to detail

    + Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team

    + Forklift certification or experience is a plus

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to stand, bend, and twist for 8 hours per day

    + Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds overhead occasionally

    + Comfortable using ladders or step stools up to 20 feet

    + Must wear required personal protective equipment throughout the shift

    + Must pass both initial and random drug screenings
