    The JOB IS CONTIGENTUPON BID AWARD

     

    The **Electrical Lead Field Technician** will assist in field operations, planning, and execution of Electrical Preventative Maintenance Operations in and industrial setting. Serve as a subject matter expert on all electrical requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide subject matter expertise to Journeymen level field Electricians maintaining and servicing a variety of systems, fixtures, and equipment

    + Maintain main electrical distribution panels, lugs and connections on commercial HVAC equipment and other installed building systems and components to include supporting Panel and/or Main Disconnect.

    + Maintain amperage loads on HVAC equipment and other installed building equipment to ensure accurate loads are present at supporting Panel or Main Disconnect.

    + Maintain conduit and electrical assemblies and components for HVAC supporting Panel or Main Disconnect

    + Loads, and tests new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers, and controls.

    + Uses and maintains various types of electrical hand and/or power tools.

    + Ensures work orders when complete are properly filled out and returned to work management

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Possess and maintain a Master Electrician license, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting

    + Minimum three (3) years of experience directing field operations and technical task execution related to work performed in support of an industrial Preventive Maintenance Program

    + Posses and maintain a cellular phone for two way communications

    + Valid state driver’s license

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Experience maintaining industrial or commercial electrical systems and components in support of an industrial Preventive Maintenance Program.

    + Industry experience in related shop mathematics and the interpretation and application of building plans, specifications, schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and sketches of all complexity.

    + Facilities maintenance experience and knowledge of required work ranging in a variety of electrical maintenance tasks.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Knowledge and ability to work with hands and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and practices used a facilities maintenance environment.

    + Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.

    + Skill in the care and use of the tools and equipment in the trades involved.

    + Ability to understand verbal and written description of technical work-related problems (i.e. drawings, floor plans, etc.)

    + Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

    + Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and standards regulating electrical construction and

     

    installation practices.

     

    + Knowledge of electrical test equipment, instruments, and appliances used in the electrical

     

    trade.
