Experience & Requirements

+ **Pay: Up to $19.90**

+ **Familiar with HIPPA regulations. medical terminology. scanning. Request for Information processes**

+ High School graduate or equivalent.

+ Minimum one-year medical records experience.

+ Familiarity with the Problem Oriented Medical Record (SOAP) system essential.

_A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role._

Responsibilities

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a **Medical Records Clerk** with YesCare:

+ Retrieve medical charts for all healthcare staff or clinicians as requested. File daily all in use medical records. Secure all active and inactive medical records.

+ Assure that charts are counter-signed by Physician, check charts for completeness.

+ Release information at the direction of the Medical Records Supervisor, Medical Director or Health Services Administrator.

+ Answer the telephone, take messages and make telephone calls. Type letters, reports and memorandums.

+ Maintain a roster or appointment book for all scheduled patient appointments both on and off-site.

+ Order, receive and maintain office supplies.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.
