Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Duties
+ Performs general upkeep and repairs inside and around buildings, including basic repairs of HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
+ Schedules maintenance appointments for complex building repairs as needed.
+ Coordinates maintenance activities for company fleet vehicles, including oil changes, inspections, registration, washing and cleaning.
+ Schedules state inspections and maintenance appointments for company vehicles.
+ Records and tracks vehicle maintenance and inspection data into system.
+ Transports fleet vehicles to and from local car dealerships for maintenance appointments.
+ Removes snow and ice from building entryways, sidewalks and company vehicles.
+ Assists with office furniture set up to include moving, assembling and tearing down.
+ Performs inventory of office supplies and places orders.
+ Assists reproduction team with scanning and archiving documents and drawings.
+ Assists with warehouse maintenance as needed.
+ Communicates effectively with IT Director, Principals and other internal clients regularly to ensure the completion of tasks.
+ Collaborates with fellow IT Department and Reproduction team members to meet established departmental goals and objectives.
+ Performs other duties as assigned, such as local errands, pick-ups and deliveries.
Education and Experience Requirements
+ High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
+ Experience working in an office, production and/or facilities maintenance environment.
+ Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
+ Knowledge of DOT regulations and general vehicle maintenance
+ Experience working with office equipment, such as copiers, plotters, printers and scanners.
+ Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

+ Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.

+ Ability to work under strict confidentiality.
+ Ability to work under minimal supervision.
+ Ability to travel locally and regionally.
+ Must have a valid Drivers' License.
+ Must be authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship.
