    Human Resources Manager

     

    Transdevin San Jose, CA, is hiring a Human Resources Manager.This position assists the General Manager in all aspects of the daily payroll and HR functions.We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

    Transdev is proud to offer:

    + Competitive compensation package of minimum $81,000 - Maximum $100,000

    Benefits include:

    + Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

    + Sick days: 5 days

    + Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

    + Other standard benefits include a 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary long-term disability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process new employee files and submit paperwork for approval.

    + Calculate and input payroll for drivers and staff.

    + Track attendance for part-time employees.

    + Handle fare reconciliation and deposits.

    + Assist in tracking and reducing overtime.

    + Full-cycle recruiting: review applications, schedule interviews, hire candidates.

    + Create and maintain employee files and onboarding paperwork.

    + Manage payroll, leaves of absence, and FMLA tracking.

    + Educate employees on benefits.

    + Ensure compliance with background checks, drug screens, and E-Verify.

    + Support transfer requests and procedures.

    + Perform other duties as required.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience.

    + College coursework in a related field preferred.

    + Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office

    + Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical, if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

    + The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

    + Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
