We are looking for a full-time, skilled, meticulous, results-driven HR Onboarding Specialist. If you are passionate about facilitating the success of new employees and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team.
SCHEDULE:Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
COMPENSATION:$18-20 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
As an HR Onboarding Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in facilitating the seamless integration of new candidates into our organization. Under the guidance of the HR Onboarding and Recruiting Manager, you will utilize your outstanding communication skills to guide prospective employees through our comprehensive onboarding process, ensuring their successful transition and integration. Your responsibilities will include maintaining regular communication with candidates via phone, text, and email, as well as providing administrative support to the HR department as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions and concerns and streaming the onboarding process.
+ Ensure a smooth transition for new employees from “onboarding” to “hired" status.
+ Assist new hires with the timely completion of the necessary Paylocity onboarding tasks and training following all legal and administrative compliance when onboarding candidates.
+ Extend preliminary offers, obtain accepted signed offers, send onboarding documents, schedule & conduct virtual I-9 verification meetings via Google meet, follow up with candidates regarding document submission, collect and review all necessary paperwork submitted by candidates to run an OCFS clearance and FAMS registration.
+ Update and maintain our internal Onboarding Progress Report.
+ Launch already predetermined trainings for recently hired employees.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
+ High School Diploma or relevant experience or studies that demonstrates qualifications to perform the requirements of this job preferred, such as: human resources, administration, employee relations, customer service (providing information and resolving customer concerns), or a related administrative support function.
+ Strong organizational skills to follow our procedures to streamline the onboarding process efficiently.
+ Excellent communication and people skills to build rapport with new employees and establish a positive onboarding experience.
+ Attention to detail to coordinate and manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
+ Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate the diverse needs and backgrounds of new employees.
+ Ability to work in a team and take initiative, maintain flexibility, and creatively solve problems.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google docs.
+ Pleasant and professional etiquette while executing phone call, text, and email communications.
+ Proficiency using Paylocity HRIS systems is a plus (but training will be provided).
+ Ability to always maintain confidentiality.
