Collaborating closely with designers, product developers, global sourcing associates, safety and compliance managers, merchants, and leadership, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our Private Brand products consistently deliver exceptional quality and value to our valued customers. Leveraging the vast scale and resources of the Walmart system, you will have the power to make a tangible impact on the business and the lives of millions of customers worldwide.     Youll make an impact by:

    + **Being an excellent business partner:** you will work closely with Sourcing leaders and Merchants to create plans that contribute to the strategy including selecting suppliers to work with, through to assuring consistent quality for our customers.

    + **Building relationships** : youll use your influencing and leadership skills to build partnerships with suppliers, business partners and other internal customers.

    + **Making decisions** : youll make decisions about textiles quality from supplier approval to clear specifications that detail our requirements.

    + **Designing, developing, and launching products** : youll work with our internal customers Product Development and Sourcing teams to ensure we source the right product with consistent quality.

    + **Knowing your category:** Youll know your customers and suppliers better than anyone and are always thinking about what is next for the category.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Masters or Doctoral degree in textiles, engineering, science, or similar technical field.

     

    8+ years experience in quality assurance, product development, manufacturing, or related area.

     

    Relevant professional certifications (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Six Sigma, or similar) relevant to the Quality Assurance field.

     

    Expertise in Statistical Analyses or Data Visualization.

    Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.
