Sonalysts, Inc is seeking an experienced software or systems engineer with critical thinking and effective communication skills to perform system and software engineering functions for defense system development projects.

What you will be doing:

+ Work on interesting and challenging software project such as:

+ Modeling and simulation of advance payload behaviors

+ Modeling and simulation of unmanned systems and onboard sensors

+ Development and improvement of signal processing algorithms

+ Using analytical and problem-solving skills to solve problems and build prototypes

Required Qualifications:

+ Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*

+ Master's degree in an engineering field

+ 10 years experience in systems or software engineering

+ Experience with signal processing or experience with controlling unmanned systems/vehicles or experience in modeling and simulation of undersea systems and the environment

Strongly Desired Experience/Qualifications:

+ Possess an active Department of Defense SECRET security clearance*

+ Experience with C/C+, LINUX, MATLAB, or python.

*Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
