    JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for all activities, including leading a team, that executes and manages New Restaurant Openings, Restaurant Remodels, New Restaurant performance, and Restaurant Training Centers.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Responsible for leading, training, developing, and mentoring a team of Restaurant Readiness Specialists.• Manages team by clearly communicating expectations, prioritizing tasks, removing barriers, and holding them accountable. • Manages the entire New to Industry (NTI) Restaurant process. This includes Turnover/Opening dates, Merchandising/Ordering, Equipment Functionality, and Infrastructure through remote and site visits. • Manages the Restaurant Training Center process and implementation. Directs team for identification of RTC locations, analyzes metrics, schedules precertification visits, and performs ongoing monitoring and recertifications.• Represents Readiness department in site visits with Operations, and other key stakeholders.• Manages, communicates, and coordinates weekly NTI calls and status reporting with all stakeholders. (Market Leaders, Region Restaurant Leaders, Area Leaders, SSC, and Program Leaders)• Ensures readiness scope and business objectives are defined, followed and communicated.• Ensures alignment between Readiness, Training, and Operations team for successful openings.• Continually improves and simplifies the new restaurant opening process.• Executes and manages complex readiness schedules in coordination with Construction and Operations.• Coordinates, updates, and communicates change management of restaurant brand standards (CEV and EcoSure)• Manages Restaurant Daily Planner including quarterly updates, change management, communication, and scheduling.• Manages all aspects of branded QSR programs (Subway, Papa Johns, etc.)• Leads other restaurant projects as assigned.

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:EDUCATION: Associates/2 Yr Degree YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ yearsYEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 3+ yearsCERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Driver’s License and Serve Safe Certificate

    SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • Experience in an organization related to operations, supporting operations, and enhanced strategic thinking in a restaurant platform• Knowledge of Restaurant operations, foodservice best practices, as well as acumen of running highly complex business processes• Proficient in a variety of software systems (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) and able to adapt to new systems• Ability to travel, frequently and on short notice for extended periods of time• Able to analyze, use and explain specific, logical, and detailed, complicated processes. Requires excellent written and verbal skills.• Proficiency in Excel, Power-Point and Microsoft Teams• Ability to solve problems by assessing the situation, leveraging data where applicable, identifying root cause and developing potential solutions.• High level of agility and adaptability; ability to quickly learn details of new business functions and operate in various project methodologies.• Must possess the ability to properly plan and fiscally execute all activities.• Strong facilitation and project management skills
