Job Description

The Kitchen Administrator is responsible for ensuring the Culinary Department runs smoothly by providing administrative and operational support to the Culinary leadership team.

Compensation Data

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00/hr. depending on circumstances, including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if applicable to the position). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

+ Completes opening and closing duties as assigned

+ Creates prep lists for kitchen staff

+ Supports and oversees food preparation

+ Manages inventory- including ordering food and overseeing food deliveries

+ Hiring and training new team members

+ Managing schedules

+ Monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, prep, and service areas

Qualifications

+ 18 years of age or older (Required)

+ Strong base of culinary knowledge

+ ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (Required) ? will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed)

+ Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50lbs.

+ Demonstrates basic math and counting skills

+ Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Willingness to accept change and new procedures

+ Knowledge of health and safety standards and ability to ensure a safe environment for employees and guests

+ Attention to detail

+ Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes

This role will have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of PPE.
