    This position is located at Aberdeen, MD and supports the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) requirement for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services. This FSR will provide technical and service-level support for the maintenance and repair of CBRNE equipment/systems/components to include the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS).

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Provide Maintenance (above crew / operator level) of CBRNE equipment / systems / components

    • Performs installation, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electro/mechanical systems to include a variety of chemical/biological detection equipment

    • Ensure all components function properly prior to shipping them to the fielded military units.

    • Ensure all classroom JBPDS systems are operational and ready for each training class

    • Meet all Logistics Response Time (LRT) requirements whether at home station or away

    • Support units (Reserve and Nation Guard) during annual and field training exercises

    • Utilize OEM-certified parts identified in Technical Manuals

    • Ensure the Logistic Information System (Maximo) is updated of time between diagnostics and repairs

    • Other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Degree or GED.

    • Minimum three (3) years’ experience.

    • Prior experience maintaining chemical / biological detection equipment (preferred).

    LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:

    • State Driver’s License

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Must be physically able to travel CONUS.

    • Must be able to lift heavy objects ~40lbs.

     

    TRAVEL: Yes, CONUS up to 50%

     

    SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active Secret Clearance Required
