**Description:** We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to serve as the ARISE Lead, responsible for guiding the technical vision and direction of the ARISE program\. The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise in simulation, software, and data analysis, as well as exceptional soft skills to collaborate with cross\-functional teams and stakeholders\. The ARISE Lead will oversee the ARISE sub\-teams, drive innovation, and identify opportunities to integrate ARISE capabilities with functional processes\.

What You Will Be Doing

\- Lead the ARISE sub\-teams, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure the successful development and implementation of ARISE capabilities

\- Develop and maintain the technical vision for ARISE, staying up\-to\-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth

\- Collaborate with program teams, including new development and legacy systems, to identify opportunities for ARISE integration and support the development of updated releases

\- Work closely with functional teams to identify areas where ARISE capabilities can be connected to functional processes, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness

\- Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and calculated risk\-taking to drive ARISE advancements

\- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including program managers, functional leaders, and technical experts, to ensure alignment and support for ARISE initiatives

\- Provide technical expertise and guidance on simulation, software, and data analysis to support the development and implementation of ARISE capabilities

\- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in simulation, software, and data analysis, applying this knowledge to inform ARISE technical vision and direction

Basic Qualifications:

\- Active Secret Clearance is required

\- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field \(e\.g\., computer science, engineering, mathematics\)

\- Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical leadership role, with a focus on simulation, software, and data analysis

\- Proven experience leading cross\-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to drive technical innovation and growth

\- Strong technical expertise in simulation, software, and data analysis, with an understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies

Desired Skills:

\- Experience with ARISE or similar programs, with a deep understanding of the technical and functional aspects of the program

\- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience with DevOps practices

\- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, with the ability to drive insights and recommendations from complex data sets

\- Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the functional and business implications of technical decisions

\- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

\- Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive innovation and growth through creative solutions

Leadership Skills:

\- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence

\- Foster a culture of openness, transparency, and continuous learning, encouraging feedback and experimentation

\- Develop and grow the skills and capabilities of the ARISE team, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance as needed

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Clearance Level:** Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
