About this role:

As a Palliative Care Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role, you will join a passionate and energetic team of one full-time Palliative Care Physician, one APP, as well as a dedicated RN, LCSW, and Chaplain – they function like a family and care deeply about their patients.

+ Practice at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO

+ The Palliative Service is open Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with no call

+ Play a critical role on a busy service with around eight consults a day

+ Work closely with local hospice agencies including one with a beautiful 13 bed inpatient unit when needed

+ Make a significant and powerful impact on people and their families during times of need

Compensation:

**Annual Salary:** $260,000

**Relocation:** up to $20,000

**Starting Bonus:** $30,000

What** **you’ll** **bring:

+ MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

+ ABMS board certification or eligibility in Family, Internal, Palliative Medicine

+ Experience with inpatient adult consult services is preferred. .

+ Active, unrestrictive Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one

+ BLS and ACLS certification and DEA

+ Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

+ We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$7.25 - $999.99
