Job Description

Aramark at Western Carolina University is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Marketing Intern to join our Campus Dining Services team. This role is ideal for students passionate about design, branding, and marketing who want hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

+ Design and produce digital and print marketing materials including flyers, posters, menus, social media graphics, and event signage.

+ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that promote dining services, meal plans, and campus events.

+ Ensure all designs align with Aramark and WCU brand guidelines.

+ Assist in managing and updating content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.

+ Support social media efforts by creating engaging visual content and assisting with photography and video projects.

+ Help coordinate and promote on-campus marketing events and tabling activities.

+ Monitor and report on student engagement trends and feedback.

Qualifications

+ **Must be a current student at Western Carolina University.**

+ **Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.**

+ Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

+ Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and branding.

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

+ Photography and/or video editing experience is a plus.

+ Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
