Job Description
The CBB business line at U.S. Bank includes the mortgage division, auto finance (direct and indirect loans and leases), consumer lending and home equity, small business banking, deposits products, and retail operations (branch and ATM network).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Provides legal support to the Consumer and Business Banking division
+ Collaborates with other related support functions, such as Risk, Compliance, Government Relations, Privacy and Data Security, Digital, and Regulatory Services
+ Works with Executive and Senior leadership of U.S. Bank and advises on regulatory and risk matters; third-party relationships; product strategy, development, and support; and dispute management and resolution
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
+ Substantial experience working in the financial services industry, preferably with a national bank and in areas such as consumer and small business financial services offered through various channels, ranging from traditional branch locations and third-party origination networks (e.g., correspondent mortgage lenders, independent auto dealerships) to online/mobile application and origination channels
+ Strong commitment to client service
+ Proven ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
+ Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication
+ Proven ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
+ Experience leading a team of legal professionals with a demonstrated commitment to excellence is highly preferred
+ Must have a J.D from an accredited law school, strong academic credentials, and be admitted to at least one state bar

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $274,295.00 - $322,700.00 - $354,970.00
