    Description:

    POSITION PURPOSE

    + The Manager of Cardiovascular Testing Responsible for directing activities of Non-Invasive and Invasive Testing/Procedural areas for Michigan Heart and Trinity Health Ann Arbor to ensure a high-quality cost-effective program across outpatient and inpatient areas.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    + Direct operational activities of assigned areas (Inpatient and Outpatient Cardiac and Vascular Testing include Inpatient Non-invasive testing).

    + Evaluate performance of assigned staff and provide mentorship to direct reports.

    + Analyze data and present statistical information on performance, productivity, activity and budget.

    + Work with Executive Director of Michigan Heart to evaluates FTE needs in assigned area for productivity and adjust as needed.

    + Works closely with the medical directors and executive director to maintain a high-quality cost-effective programs

    + Assures all areas are accredited and maintain all requirements for accreditation.

    + Assures all areas are compliant with JCO

    + Identifies process improvement opportunities and directs process improvement changes related to assigned areas.

    + Implements measures to ensure compliance with Medicare, Federal Wage & Hour, OSHA and other regulations in assigned areas.

    + Recommend plans that will maximize the performance of all areas and programs

    + Evaluate and provide recommendations on the need for additional and replacement capital equipment related to testing, considering return on investment

    + Assures compliance with billing/reimbursement for all payers.

    + Interviews, hires, develops, evaluates, and supervises all nursing, technical and other staff. Disciplines and terminates staff in accordance with HR policy

    + Supervises payroll issues, including Kronos calculation and monitoring.

    MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + Education: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.

    + Experience: Five or more years of clinical experience in a cardiovascular or related area.

    + Certification/Licensure: Current licensure in the State of Michigan.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    + Knowledge of cardiovascular testing procedures and standards

    + Knowledge of financial management practices (budget planning)
