GENERAL DUTIES
Participates in the daily coordination of academic and administrative activities of a College's specialized academic program under management direction.
- Supports program development, student service delivery, outcome evaluation and instructor/student recruitment, enrollment, and retention.
- Recommends, implements and evaluates strategies to expand program offerings
- Prepares analytical and statistical reports for management
- Develops and maintains relationships with various College offices to improve student and faculty services
- Serves as resource expert regarding program policies and procedures
- Oversees office recordkeeping; manages updates of program web and print materials
- May supervise office operations and/or department budget
- Performs related duties as assigned.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
- Provides organizational coordination and support for programs and projects managed by the Director.
- Works collaboratively with directors on program assessment; conducts research and analyzes statistical and other data.
- Supervises and trains administrative support.
- Coordinates the University Scholar registration process and collaborate with academic and administrative departments at Hunter to ensure that student needs are met.
- Coordinates co-curricular programming.
- Coordinates the advisory admissions committee and admissions interview process.
- Coordinates local campus outreach and publicity efforts involving print and electronic media.
- Tracks student records and prepares reports.
- Collaborates with and refers students regarding leadership projects, professional development, and academic resources.
- Communicates with advisors and seminar faculty regarding program policies and procedures.
- Coordinates with the Office of Institutional Advancement to support alumni and parent outreach efforts.
- Serves as liaison with the college offices such as Computer Information Services, Facilities and Public Safety.
- Schedules and organizes senior staff calendars and upcoming program events. Develops meeting agendas; schedules ongoing staff, department, and task force meetings; maintains all meeting summaries and files.
- Coordinates special projects as assigned by the Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and four years' relevant experience required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and at least four years' experience in pre-college or related project coordination required. Master's degree is preferred. The candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time-management skills, as well as a strong work ethic and commitment for success. Further, the candidate will be able to work on a flexible schedule (evenings and Saturdays for a minimum 40 weeks a year) with individuals in a diverse community.
COMPENSATION
$52,267 - $72,667; commensurate with experience.
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
