Job Summary/Purpose
Maximo/Click App Support Analyst will provide technical support of Entergy’s Transmission, Distribution, and Fleet Business units. The role will require development expertise for Enterprise Asset Management, and Field Work Management.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
+ User Assistance: provide functional and technical application support & assistance; assist users with data and business process analysis
+ Full stack development, including Java and Python.
+ Participate in a 24 x 7 on call rotation
+ Research resolution of technical issues encountered during the process of development.
+ Build and maintain software integrations utilizing APIs, integrations, etc.
+ Maintain system documentation, troubleshoots issues, tracks issues, and resolves issues
+ Utilize Oracle database
+ Defects/Enhancements - assisting functional team in design, developing, delivering business requirements, and resolution.
+ Serve as technical point of contact for business partners and other technology areas
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum experience required of the position
+ App Support Analyst I: 0-2 years of work experience in IT application support
+ App Support Analyst II: 2+ years of work experience in Maximo and/or MAS Mobile application support
+ App Support Analyst III: 4+ years of work experience in Maximo and/or MAS Mobile application support
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
+ Software development, technical support, solutions deployment, or consulting in Maximo or other Enterprise Asset Management Solutions (EAM).
+ Python, Jython, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for automation scripts and integrations (some of these already listed).
+ Oracle database management systems, writing SQL queries, building Oracle PL/SQL queries and functions as needed.
+ Integration frameworks for enterprise applications using JSON/REST services.
+ Application servers (WebSphere Application Server or WebLogic)
+ SNOW – ServiceNow IT Helpdesk System
+ Knowledge of Asset Mgmt and Work Mgmt
+ SDLC knowledge
+ Strong communication skills and ability to work in team environment
+ Strong analytical and triaging issues
+ Source Control (SVN)
+ Unix/Linux experience
