Overview
The Network Control Technician II provides support primarily to the Network Operations portion of the Gaming Operations Organization. They work in a 24x7x365 centralized Network Operations room accountable for Wide Area Progressive system operations covering a high volume of games and systems across North America. They must work within a highly regulated environment to maintain 99.95% game playability and network uptime for our Wide Area Progressive (WAP) system. In addition to the Network Control portion, they will work closely with and assist other roles in monitoring and reporting on progressive systems events at the gaming floor level. They also coordinate scheduled change activity for multiple event types and maintain accurate configuration database records.
Responsibilities
In addition to the duties performed by Network Control Tech I, the Network Control Tech II will serve as an Engineering aid by performing more administrative system duties. Included in these duties are site and system Route addition/removal, Monthly Circuit Audit, WAP system inventory and data collection. You will complete quarterly User Acceptance Training on monitoring software updates and contribute toward the improvements in future updates. You will also assist with game counts game and system count audits, and serve as a lead for various projects the organization undertakes, as well as all other Computer Operator I and II duties as required
Qualifications
CompTIA N+ certification preferred within 90 days of hire
Ability to communicate technical issues to non-IT personnel
Excellent teamwork skills
Must be 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a gaming card/license in multiple jurisdictions.
Able to type 35 WPM and must have computer experience in the Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
Other computer experience with SAP, CRM, and/or ACD systems preferred.
Willing to work overtime and/or make schedule adjustments as needed.
ITIL awareness preferred.
Bi-lingual Spanish English preferred.

_At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $37,300 - $61,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable._
