Our client, in the **home health care industry** , is seeking a **Billing Specialist** to join their team. As a **Medical Billing and Insurance Coordinator** , you will be part of the **Billing and Finance Department** , supporting **patient care teams and administrative staff** . The ideal candidate will have **strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and keen attention to detail** , which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
+ **Verify Insurance Coverage** – Confirm patient benefits and obtain authorizations.
+ **Billing & Claims Processing** – Prepare, submit, and track claims with third-party payers.
+ **Patient Account Management** – Communicate account status, process financial hardship forms, and coordinate payment plans.
+ **Audit & Compliance** – Ensure billing documentation accuracy through regular auditing.
+ **Reporting & Documentation** – Generate billing activity reports for administrators and regulatory bodies.
What’s Needed?
+ **Education** – High school diploma or equivalent (Accounting degree preferred).
+ **Software Skills** – Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel; prior experience with Home Health billing software preferred.
+ **Organizational Skills** – Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
+ **Communication Abilities** – Effective interaction with patients, physicians, and third-party payers.
+ **Attention to Detail** – Accuracy in billing, claims, and reimbursement processing.
