Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an OMS Technical Lead to manage both onshore and offshore teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration. This role involves facilitating knowledge transfer sessions to ensure team members understand the base OMS tool and its utilization within the organization. The Technical Lead will implement best-of-breed strategies, leveraging the unique capabilities of various SaaS tools to support business needs.

The ideal candidate will step right into extensive use of the OMS tool, demonstrating a deep understanding of its functionalities and expectations. They will source and manage different inventory visibility tools, ensuring accurate and real-time data across the supply chain. Additionally, they will evaluate overlapping capabilities of various tools, such as warehousing, front-end portal, and EDI integration, to select the best features that support operational requirements.

The Technical Lead will collaborate with the offshore team to design solutions that address specific business needs and functional requirements. They will familiarize themselves with the organization's environment and provide solutions for various requests and challenges. Furthermore, they will determine how to implement specific functionalities based on business asks and technical constraints, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement.

Skills and Requirements

5-9+ years of extensive experience in Sterling OMS functions,

Specifically: Sourcing, Inventory Visibility, and Order Hub.

Over 2 years of experience as a Lead/Technical Lead, leading onshore and offshore teams, and overseeing acceptance criteria and business requirements.

Working experience with IBM Cloud or deploying an OMS application in a cloud environment.

Proven track record in designing solutions, evaluating customizations, and enhancing system efficiency through testing.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into system specifications.

Proficient in using Jira or similar tools.

Ability to read code and logic; while not required to develop, exposure to JavaScript, Java, etc., is beneficial. Developing an EDI Outbound ASN (Outbound Shipping Notice) Mapping, integration, testing, deployment, ETC

Developing or deploying IBM Sterling OMS in the cloud
