Responsibilities

Direct accreditation and regulatory programs, policies, practices and resources for the

organization.

+ Assess and analyze information from accreditation and regulatory agencies to identify surveyreadiness and compliance risks.

+ Perform ongoing risk assessment activities to identify issues and develops and implements accreditation and regulatory work plans. Works with leadership to provide advice and resources to implement improvements.

+ Coordinates with facilities leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state and local accreditation and regulatory requirements. Documents standards and regulations that may affect organizational policies, practices and procedures.

+ Serves as organization liaison for accreditation and regulatory matters relative to continuous state of readiness and compliance.

Requirements

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

+ RN licensure and experience strongly preferred

+ Minimum 5 years of Regulatory and Accreditation experience in a large hospital setting strongly preferred

+ Extensive knowledge of The Joint Commission and CMS
