Responsibilities

Supervise planning and implementation of functional area-based computer applications consistent with overall organization business strategy.

+ Work with managers, analysts and business application professionals on analyzing, conducting research and defining business applications.

+ Determine design strategy and provide system design in a highly specialized and highly complex area.

+ Design and monitor necessary testing and implementation plans. Troubleshoot operation and user problems.

+ Develop work teams, delegates tasks and coordinates unit or departmental information systems projects, budgets and maintenance.

+ Coordinate staff training in proper use, application and security of department computer system. Assist in training all staff in the use of information system. Provide feedback to computer user's questions/concerns.

+ Make recommendations for implementation of new systems and technologies based on awareness of current and future directions of the business, industry and associated technologies where appropriate.

Requirements

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

+ PACS admin experience

+ Multi IT related experience
