Our client, a leading organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Senior Accountant

**Location:** New York, New York-

Pay Range: $45-50/HR W2

What's the Job?

+ Analyze and track financial data related to federal, state, and private grants.

+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for grantors and leadership.

+ Ensure compliance with grant agreements, GAAP, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OMB Uniform Guidance).

+ Assist in budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis for grant-funded projects.

+ Reconcile grant-related general ledger accounts and ensure proper fund allocations.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

+ Experience in grant data analysis and financial reporting.

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance.

+ Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
