    We are looking for** **Operations Specialist

    **Location:** 100% Onsite – 126 E. Lincoln Avenue, PO Box 2000, Rahway, NJ 07065

    **Duration:** 6-Month Contract (Possible Extension Based on Performance and Budget)

    **Schedule:** Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    **Pay Rate:** Up to $35-39/hour (W2)

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a highly motivated **Operations Specialist** to support the activities within our client's **Formulation, Laboratory, and Experimentation (FLEx) Center** . This role is ideal for an individual contributor with a background in operations or technical roles within **GMP manufacturing** environments. The Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting drug product development, manufacturing operations, documentation, and compliance processes.

     

    This position is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring someone who can flex between operational support, documentation, and equipment oversight to meet project and development needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Support daily GMP and development activities at the FLEx Center.

    + Apply scientific and technical knowledge to execute and complete assigned operational tasks.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to meet timelines and deliverables.

    + Assist with equipment setup, support, and cleaning processes.

    + Author and review SOPs, technical documents, and operational reports.

    + Use systems such as SAP and MS Office to manage inventory and documentation.

    + Ensure compliance with safety protocols, cGMP regulations, and internal policies.

    + Contribute to root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for operational issues.

    + Help compile and manage safety-related documentation (e.g., process waste collection).

    + Actively participate in maintaining a culture of compliance, safety, and quality.

    + Stay informed on relevant procedures, communications, and leadership directives.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or another technical field.

    + 4–5 years of experience in Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, or a related function.

    + Strong knowledge of cGMP and experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting (preferred).

    + Familiarity with drug product processes such as bulk production, oral solid dosage, or packaging.

    + Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** and **SAP** or other inventory management systems.

    + Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a collaborative team mindset.

    + Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities and new technologies.
