Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Secret Software Applications Test Engineer III to be located in the Colorado Springs area. This position will participate in software design and peer reviews, develop test specifications and infrastructure, execute manual and automated test and perform analysis of program implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing). Responsibilities also include the coordination of lab resources, test results, and verification status with the program and customers. Present analysis results and action plans orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document). The candidate must possess strong verbal/written communication skills, enabling him/her to work effectively in a small technical team environment and to accurately represent test perspectives to program systems engineers and architects, software designers, other testers, and test support personnel, the Government customer, and personnel in other customer programs Occasional Travel between Colorado Springs facilities/sites and Huntsville, AL is expected.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors in STEM w/ 5+ years of experience; Master's degree in related field w/ 3+ years of experience; 9 years of total experience in lieu of degree

Secret clearance or higher

Software test knowledge and experience

Experience with an Agile development process

Automated testing experience (unit testing, JUnit, Apache, Selenium, etc)

Experience documenting software deficiency reports and planning/execution of test data collection

Position allows a 4x10 or 9/80 schedule DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) is highly desired

Experience within DevOps environment null
