    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager for Compounding Services to join a major health system in Charleston, SC area.

     

    As a vital leader in the pharmacy department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality patient care, promoting safety, and optimizing pharmacy operations in our renowned healthcare facility. The Compounding Services Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for daily operations within the compounding pharmacy, including oversight of the compounding pharmacy staff pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians. You will support the scale-up of growing compounding capabilities, as well as acting as a stakeholder in the development of new compounded treatments. You will strive to maximize quality and patient safety while dispensing medication in accordance with federal and state pharmacy regulations. Develops, implements and supervises all procedures, activities, and personnel for the safe handling, storage, and preparation of compounded products, including regulatory compliance and quality assurance, as regulated by the board of pharmacy, USP and Federal regulations, including all regulatory, accreditation, and certification requirements.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Pharm D degree

     

    Current pharmacist licensure in South Carolina ( or willing to get it)

     

    Minimum 2 years of sterile compounding experience

    Minimum 2 years of pharmacy management experience null
