Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a full-time Director of Engineering to work at one of our clients who specialize in construction & engineering.

Accountable for all engineering functions within Maintenance & Construction. Responsible for providing technical resources as necessary to support the Business Development and Operational/Project needs for the planning, management and execution of projects within engineering. Broad base of project execution knowledge and experience for EP and EPC projects.

As the Director of Engineering, heres the work youll do:

Direct and manage the office workload for engineering. Ensure sufficient EPC competencies and capabilities to respond to current and expanding markets and workload. Manage non-billable time and costs within the annual budget

Responsible for all engineering activity (cost, schedule, quality, utilization, recruiting etc.) in assigned office and/or site. Ensure appropriate staffing is available for all projects within the office and/or site

Assist business development in proposal preparation and market sectors in strategic planning. Maintain skills, certifications and PE license matrix for engineering

Drive innovation across engineering in execution and technology. Actively develop, recruit and maintain subject matter experts in current and expanding markets

Provide discipline, direction and focus in support of business needs. Drive the definition and use of established standard procedures within disciplines measuring progress and rewarding success

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering

15+ years of experience

Registered PE or 20+ years of experience

EPC Project Experience null
