    Job Description

    • Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting

     

    Perform routine checks and services on AV/VTC systems.

     

    Conduct advanced diagnostic troubleshooting to resolve system issues.

     

    • Network Experience

    Provide field service support for networked devices such as:

    Routers

     

    Switches

    IP Protocols

    • AV/VTC Call Support

     

    Provide endpoint-level support for AV/VTC calls.

     

    Likely includes call setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting during live sessions.

     

    • Control System & DSP Maintenance

    Maintain and make minor configuration changes to:

    Control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX)

     

    DSPs (e.g., Biamp, QSC)

     

    Includes interface graphics updates and performance optimization.

     

    • Conference Room Buildouts

     

    Support new room installations and onboarding of newly commissioned rooms.

     

    • User Support & Training

     

    Provide direct assistance and training to end users on AV system usage.

     

    • Vendor Coordination

     

    Coordinate with contractors or manufacturers for field support when needed.

     

    • Inventory & Spare Parts

     

    Maintain inventory of AV/VTC systems and spare parts.

     

    Ensure spares are available for quick issue resolution.

     

    • Administrative Tasks

     

    Complete service tickets, reports, and maintain system readiness boards.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves

    • Active Secret Clearance

    • 5+ years of experience in an AV Technician Role

    o Break fix support

    o Meeting support

    o Control system/ DSP support (Crestron, Biamp, AMX, Poly)

    o Intermediate networking experience

    o Light server patching

    Required Certs

    • CompTIA Security + with up-to-date CEs

    • Microsoft MCSA or MCSE or certificate of completion for the courses below:

    • Updating to Server 2019: Windows Server Installations

    • Updating to Server 2019: Server Configuration

    • Updating to Server 2019: Server Roles
