Job Description

An oil and gas client of Insight Global is looking for an Business Operations Analyst to join their Operational Applications team in Beaumont, Tx. with occasional travel to the Houston office. This person will oversee a team of 2-4 application analysts on the operational applications team, ensuring all systems and processes are in place and functioning correctly. They will play a crucial role in supporting technical and business operations, acting as a trusted right hand to the supervisor. Ultimately, they will bridge the gap between business concerns and technical solutions, streamline processes, and manage a small team. The Business Operations Analyst must be a leader, extremely organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment. They will ensure all timelines are met and communicated effectively to IT leadership and business stakeholders. This person must be local and willing to report onsite in Beaumont 5 days/week with occasional travel to Houston. The salary for this role is dependent upon experience and will be between $115,000-175,000 annually.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of IT experience.

2+ years of business analyst experience with one of the following applications: Aveva PI, Hexagon's j5, or Enablon.

Strong communications/soft skills with the ability to curate cross functional relationships internally and externally to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines

Strong presentation/reporting skills with experience providing status reports to upper management

Team player mentality, light on feet and capable of bouncing from task to task as required to ensure services are delivered in a timely manner.

Must be eligible and willing to obtain TWIC card. Active TWIC card. null
