Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Analyst to join our SAP TM Implementation team and serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the SAP TM offshore implementation team. This role requires a hands-on expert who can gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, design solutions in SAP TM, customize and coordinate the delivery of an offshore team of 34 analysts and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with business users (Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain) and our Implementation partner to gather, document, and validate functional requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed functional design documents for SAP TM.
Participate with our Implementation partner to fit-gap analysis, process design workshops, and solution design reviews with stakeholders.
Serve as the lead onsite SME for SAP TM configuration, including freight order management, carrier selection, planning, execution, and freight settlement.
Customize the SAP TM system based on requirements
Work with offshore team members to assign tasks, provide design clarification, review deliverables, and ensure timelines are met.
Support testing activities (SIT/UAT), defect triage, and cutover planning.
Participate in integration design with SAP SD/MM/WM/EWM/Finance, external carriers, and other logistics systems.
Act as a quality gatekeeper for offshore work, ensuring compliance with solution architecture and standards.
Provide training and guidance to business users and super users during deployment phases.
Compensation:
$82.00/hr to $92.00/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in SAP TM implementations, including at least one full-cycle implementation as a functional lead.
Strong knowledge of core SAP TM functionalities (freight units, freight orders, planning, tendering, settlement).
Experience working in a hybrid onsite-offshore model.
Ability to produce high-quality functional specs, design docs, and test scenarios.
Hands-on configuration experience in SAP TM.
Familiarity with SAP SD/MM/WM/EWM and finance integration.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.
Exposure to Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
Knowledge of EDI standards and carrier integration.
Transportation industry experience (e.g., wholesale, retail distribution). null
