• TS/SCI Linux Admin/Test Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking to hire a Linux Admin/Test Engineer in the Hanover, MD, area. This individual will provide tier 2/tier 3 support for the end customers operational systems. On a day-to-day basis, this involves testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing issues that arise within their Linux, Windows, and virtual environments. Examples include, but are not limited to, executing PowerShell scripts, making DNS entries, assigning IP addresses, configuring Cisco routing tables and devices, and restarting VMware ESXi hosts.

    Compensation:

    $60.00/hr to $66.51/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.     Skills and Requirements

     

    - Active TS/SCI security clearance

     

    - 3+ years of professional experience executing command-line Linux operations

     

    - Bachelors Degree (can be substituted with 4 years of additional experience)

     

    - Active Security+ Certification

     

    - Active CompTIA Linux+ Certification

     

    - Network Cisco configuration experience

     

    - Experience supporting and/or troubleshooting issues within a Windows Active Directory environment

     

    - VMWare troubleshooting/support experience, such as cloning devices and restarting ESXi hosts - Expertise in integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test beds null
