    Overview

     

    Excellent opportunity for a Nocturnist interested in practicing in Chicago, Illinois.

     

    We are looking for a Nocturnist to join our team!

    Responsibilities

    + The physician will take admissions from the ED, consults from specialists and transfers from other local Prime hospitals.

    + We are a Comprehensive Stroke Center and the system hospital for high risk PCI as well as Cardiothoracic surgery.

    + You will work a 7 on 7 off schedule, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM.

    + You respond to RRT and Code blue.

    + There is an in house anesthesiologist for intubations and the eicu physician is accessible.

    + No procedures expected.

    + Average 8 patients admitted at night (the number of admits may vary from call days to non call days).

    + There are an average of 2 RRT/Code blue per night.

    + You cross cover on the hospitalist service patients (approximately 54 - 58 patients).

    Qualifications

    + Board certified or Board eligible, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

    + Current Illinois Medical License - MD or DO (or in process)

    + Unrestricted Current DEA Registration

    + Clean background

    + Team Player

    + ACLS certification is required

    + Procedures not required

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $300,000.00 to $345,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
