    Responsibilities

    Cardiovascular Radiography Tech (CVRT) will work under the guidance of a physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist) in the cardiovascular lab!

    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    + Monitoring physiologic data - performing tests like cardiac catherization, echocardiograms, and electrocardiograms

    + Ensuring the procedure room is well-prepared - maintian instrument levels

    + Assist in both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures - monitoring patients during the procedures

    + Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart disease

    + Partake in staff meetings and at times assist with training new team members - teamwork makes the dreamwork

     

    An ideal candidate will be a team player, compassionate, and a dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

    1.ARRT-Rand license as required by State orCertified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT)orRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.

    2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab;preferred.

    3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoringpreferred.

    4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.

    5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.

    6. Proficient computer skills.

The current compensation range for this role is$43.05 to $60.00.The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
