Ryder Logistics is actively seeking an experienced Business Development Manager/ Solution Architect to spearhead automation and integration efforts related to WMS system integration and solution design. Experience with any Manhattan Products is a huge advantage. This role is highly customer facing and requires excellent presentation skills and Sales Mindset. Business Development solutioning including but not limited to: facilitating/translating client needs and objectives into requirements and project estimates, enabling competitive and quality technology solutions in response to clients needs, solution documentation, driving innovative and creative solutions to business challenges, serving as solution lead to construct data flow between Ryder customers and Ryder applications. Key responsibilities include defining technical requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and architecting scalable, repeatable solutions for complex logistics challenges.

This individual will sit in the Supply Chain Technology Organization but will heavily be involved in Business Development/ Pre-sales activities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing robust solution roadmaps, leveraging expertise in cloud technologies, system migrations, and integration methodologies. The focus will be on WMS Solution Design or new customers. It is crucial that the candidate has a solid understanding of business operations and can communicate effectively with developers, operations personnel, and executive stakeholders. Skills and Requirements

3-7+ years of relevant experience within the IT space at enterprise level organizations, Specific experience solutioning with clients

Proven experience working in the 3PL/ Distribution Management industry has a strong business understanding of Operations

Specific experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Building solution design documents, understands integration flows, how to position all capabilities into a design

Preferably experience working with Manhattan WMS products or other related WMS systems

Proven experience leading integration architecture for high profile projects, Deep understanding of systems integration to design cohesive communication between systems.

Experience in the 3PL/4PL sales process: RFI/RFPs, bid response, IT cost model preparation, architectural diagrams, client presentation and launch team handoffs.

Business Development solutioning including but not limited to: facilitating/translating client needs and objectives into requirements and project estimates, enabling competitive and quality technology solutions in response to clients needs, solution documentation, driving innovative and creative solutions to business challenges, serving as solution lead to construct data flow between Ryder customers and Ryder applications.

Leadership capabilities to guide teams in delivering commitments in security, infrastructure, and database management.

Strong documentation skills as it relates to business requirements and scope definition, addressing and documenting critical design parameters around the IT solution.

Candidate must possess strong client facing skills and understand the mechanisms for building strong, long-lasting internal and external customer relationships, including the ability to generate results through influence.

Ability to manage multiple pursuits across all verticals, set priorities and adapt to changing requirements

Deliver timely, accurate and aggressively responsible IT costing models by managing all functional IT teams that are involved in the pursuit.

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills this is a leadership role and highly collaborative. Preferred experience with Manhattan WMS Products (SCALE, WMOS, Active)
