Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) Contractor to evaluate and optimize a database environment. This role involves assessing current systems, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to enhance performance, security, and availability. You will provide technical support, manage tickets, perform health checks, and execute traditional DBA tasks. As the senior resource, your primary responsibility will be to pinpoint weak processes and deliver strategies that significantly improve overall system efficiency.
Compensation:
$65/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
- 5-7 years as a Database Architect
- Expertise in database management, troubleshooting, and support
- Proven familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Strong understanding of database security measures and compliance requirements
- Ability to learn and adapt to specific processes and systems
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, and HANA
Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Qlik replication and/or Databricks
- Oil & gas industry experience null
