Overview
**Lead Air Compression Tech** _Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm_
As a Lead Air Compression Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving complex issues across multiple compressor brands and platforms. You will guide, mentor, and train other technicians while performing advanced diagnostics and repairs. This is a hands-on, leadership role perfect for someone with strong mechanical and electrical expertise in compressors, motors, and related systems. Lead the way in air compressor repair—where expert skills, independence, and leadership drive your day.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues across a variety of compressor and air vending systems.
+ Diagnose and resolve complex compressor faults, including motor repairs, pressure regulation issues, and control circuitry.
+ Mentor and train field technicians in proper repair techniques, schematic reading, and safe multi-meter use.
+ Use schematics and multi-meters to troubleshoot low-voltage systems and electrical controls.
+ Guide team members through compressor installations and retrofits, ensuring all systems meet operational standards.
+ Teach others to resolve payment technology issues and configure systems via back-office applications.
+ Maintain proper stock levels, audit inventory, and execute replenishment for self and other technicians.
+ Recommend upgrades and layout improvements based on room usage, income patterns, and equipment performance.
+ Inspect locations to ensure safety, lighting, and equipment standards are met; report and resolve issues affecting reliability and performance.
+ Provide route efficiency feedback and alert management to routing concerns or machine downtime risks.
+ Promote customer satisfaction by building relationships with property managers and clients, taking ownership of assigned compressor routes.
+ Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and fully stocked with tools and parts.
+ Respond to customer inquiries and collaborate with sales/service teams for service improvements.
+ Identify revenue opportunities and recommend pricing/vend adjustments to maximize profitability.

What we’re looking for
+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
+ Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required; OR 5–7 years of relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, or compressor repair.
+ Extensive hands-on experience with air compressors, motors, and electrical systems.
+ Prior background in appliance repair or a related field is strongly preferred.
+ Advanced knowledge of compressor and motor repair, including low-voltage electrical systems.
+ Proficient in the use of multi-meters and capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
+ Comfortable troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues independently.
+ Technically proficient with smartphones, tablets, and route/service applications.
+ Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
+ Proven ability to mentor and train other technicians; sets the standard for quality and safety.
+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
+ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; able to build rapport with property managers and team members.
+ Able to evaluate site performance data and recommend operational improvements.
+ Physically capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling 80–100 lbs and using fine motor skills in daily tasks.
+ Comfortable working in tight spaces and varying environmental conditions.
+ Ability to maintain and care for a company vehicle and tools.
