The Role:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sr. Demand Planner with a customer focus to manage forecasting inputs to inventory requirements, and related project management for the Amazon Go business. Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work in a highly collaborative environment that’s more startup than big company. The Sr. Demand Planner will develop short and long-range sell-through, inventory, and buying projections, and drive analysis and process optimization to ensure we achieve world class inventory availability and inventory health. Additionally, the Sr. Demand Planner will pursue initiatives that improve sales, customer experience, and operational performance.
The team:
We are a small team that is passionate about what we do - we are excited about delivering a great CX to our customers every day. The Sr. Demand Planner will work closely with our Instock team, Vendor Managers, Category Managers, Product Management, S&OP Manager, internal vendors and other Amazon Business units to improve customers’ in-store experience.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of with Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience working with complex data sets
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
