    DESCRIPTION

    Plays a leadership role in providing ongoing production support, project support, business analysis, data governance, and subject matter expertise for lending systems, primarily focused on Credit Bureau Reporting (CBR) and furnishment with strict adherence to Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) regulations. Independently drives assigned initiatives to successful conclusions within established time and budget goals.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    + Performs business analysis for consumer and/or commercial credit bureau reporting including data furnishment and data quality in Loan, Payment and Operations Support Services; applications include mainframe, PC, distributed systems, databases, and/or web-based applications.

    + Plays a leadership role in providing ongoing production support for Loan Payment and Operations Services- (LPOS) Support applications and processes; acts as first line of contact for user reported inquiries and problems; performs problem reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis and identification of preventative measures.

    + Chairs problem and enhancement review meetings with business partners, including Operations Functional Teams, Operational Balance & Control, Key Technology, Risk, and Vendors.

    + Leads and coordinates small projects and initiatives; provides subject matter expertise, business analysis and support for small to large scale projects, including but not limited to analyzing and defining scope and business requirements, identifying and resolving project issues, testing, implementing and supporting installations.

    + Acts as system consultant to Operations Functional Areas and Lines of Business relative to new products and initiatives.

    + Translates business needs and requirements to Technology partners; translates technical material to the LPOS Process Areas and Lines of Business.

    + Maintains knowledge and expertise in LPOS processes, supporting applications and their interfaces.

    + Build relationships and communicate effectively with the Loan Services Process Areas, Lines of Business, Key Technology, Vendors and other Support Partners.

    + Cross-train to ensure full coverage of applications and functions.

    + Independently seek out learning opportunities to develop oneself.

    + Mentors other business analysts to enhance their knowledge and experience, resulting in higher performance; identifies and provides learning opportunities to other business analysts.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or similar field or equivalent experience.

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in lending/systems operations, process, and/or analyst experience.

    + Experience translating and understanding of credit reporting attributes

    + Proficient knowledge in FCRA Regulation.

    + Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing data.

    + Demonstrated technology/systems aptitude.

    + Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    + Effective at learning about business processes and translating that into how systems can benefit the business. Keen ability to grasp new concepts and processes.

    + Proven ability to lead projects and initiatives to successful completion; excellent organization skills including the proven ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and implement initiatives.

    + Proven ability to successfully manage multiple, complex assignments with competing deadlines; proven ability to prioritize commitments, assign tasks and follow up on assignments.

    + Proven ability to motivate and inspire team members/peers to higher performance on assigned tasks to accomplish a shared vision.

    + Demonstrated ability to present and translate complex issues via clear and concise communications (verbal and written) to a diverse audience, inclusive of multiple layers of management.

    + Proficiency with PCs and PC based software is essential. i.e.; Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Visio; MS Teams.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or similar field strongly preferred.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in lending/systems operations, process, and/or analyst experience.

    + Thorough knowledge of Loan Payment and Operational Services workflow and practices.

    + Relationships with Experian, Equifax, Transunion.

    + Knowledge of banking, accounting and/or finance.

    + Knowledge of lending and default regulations.

    + LEAN/Six Sigma certification or experience.

    + Project management experience, training or exposure

    + Knowledge of LPOS System, i.e., MSP, ALS, LoanIQ, HOGAN, TSYS, CACS/CAS, Oracle Banking, KeyView Deluxe, Workfront

     

    Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment. As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties. Person selected for the position will work typically a minimum of one to two days a week from the office location.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $61,000.00 to $94,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
