    Junior Accountant Intern

    **Overview:** Nightwing, a $1.8 billion intelligence services company, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated  **Junior Accountant Intern**  to support our Controllership team with day-to-day accounting tasks. This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in government contracting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Support monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries

    + Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation

    + Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries

    + Perform administrative tasks related to accounting as needed

    + Collaborate with team members on special projects

    Qualifications:

    + Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

    Local to Dulles, VA headquarters location or ability to travel as necessary
