The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented **Senior** **Solutions Computing Architect** to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance (AD) Division team in **Hazelwood, MO**
Join the Information Digital Technology & Security Analytics (ITD&S) Enterprise Architecture team at Boeing as a talented and motivated Senior Solutions Architect! In this impactful role, you will leverage architecture methodologies like The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) within an agile framework (SAFe) to analyze business requirements, develop architecture definitions, and showcase capabilities with our Digital Enterprise (DE) solutions.
Collaborating with Boeing Information Technology (IT) resources globally, you’ll craft tailored solutions that meet business needs while deepening your domain expertise. We seek a Senior Solutions Computing Architect with a strong background in the defense industry, cloud and application security, experienced in defining and implementing secure architecture solutions. Your technology leadership, analytical skills, and excellent communication will be key as you engage with technical personnel, business leaders, and customers.

Position Responsibilities:
+ Leads partnering strategy between Boeing customers and ITD&S team to improve IT Services
+ Works with customers to establish a standard for network connectivity to enable Boeing to accelerate productivity across sites
+ Develops architecture and network solutions for smart factory, supply chain, Digital Transformation and Digital Enablement
+ Establishes design, develops, and maintains architecture views and models
+ Evaluates feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives for digital transformation
+ Evaluates products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments, drafts data and information management products and service standards
+ Manages On-Prem to Cloud migration
+ Assess and manage cybersecurity requirements
+ Assess impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ 5+ years of experience with application modernization best practices, development, and solution architecture including database
+ 5+ years of experience with cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google, PCF/Tanzu or similar)
+ 5+ years of experience with systems integration design differences between applications and platforms and DevSecOps design/development
+ 5+ years of experience working with geographically spread teams across time zones
+ 5+ years of experience with software development in Agile methodology
+ 5+ years of experience interaction with business architects, IT function architects and business executives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher
+ 5+ years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry
+ Cloud Service Provider Official Certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solution Architect, etc.)
+ 5+ years of experience with DevOps software including Gitlab, Ansible, Terraform, Jira, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipelines, AWS CodeGuru
+ 3+ years of experience developing good user interfaces
+ 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Systems Architecture Tool Suite (ESATS)
+ Experience in Windows and UNIX operating systems
+ Experience with data structures, data migration tools, and multiple DBMS, e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Teradata
+ Experience with automated system discovery and inventorying tools such as Flexera, CAST or similar
+ Experience with incident management, monitoring, observability and analytics tools, such as GSEP/Service now, Splunk, AppDynamics and cloud native monitoring (e.g. AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Cloud Logging, etc)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $142,800 - $193,200
